What is a virtual Domain?

A virtual domain is the base URL of the domain name. Examples include yourdomain.com, and ultrawebhosting.com. Virtual domain names are not just limited to .com, .net, .org, or .edu domain extensions. International domain names may also virtual domain names, such as london.co.uk, deutchland.de, etc.
