How do I make Outlook leave a copy of my messages on the server?

With Microsoft Outlook, it's possible to leave a copy of each message on the mail server after you read it.

To change your email account settings with POP3 to leave email on the server go to Tools, Account Settings, highlight the account you wish to change, click Change, click More Settings, the Advanced tab, check "Leave a copy of the message on the server".

Email will now stay on the server. This is useful when connecting more than one device to your email account such as a phone or touchpad.
